CASE STUDY : FULL PRESENTATION OF AN IDENTITY SYSTEM
Cambridge Advantage, Honolulu HI
COMPANY PROFILE
Cambridge Advantage was a new business offering exceptional children's educational programming and products, integrating music, dance, art, science, math, history and language to create a unique educational experience.
OBJECTIVE
To create an identity that would reflect the energy and vision of this new business venture, appeal to children of all ages through a lively sense of play – while reassuring their parents of the highest quality educational values, integrity and distinction. It must be able to compete with its established competitors, be versatile, easily expandable, and adaptable to every potential application.
SCOPE OF PROJECT
I was to design a comprehensive identity system consisting of integrated elements to establish the "graphic standards." As the most important unifying element. Usage of the logo must be clearly defined, along with standard usage for typography, color palette, lock-up devices, patterns, and icons. Once the identity's graphic standards were established, they would then be applied to a basic stationery package.
